Coding
Sessions
Staying active is not only about sport. Free weekly coding sessions at Chobham Academy give young people aged 8–18 a real mental challenge, covering Python, SQL, problem solving and digital skills, with mentorship built in every step of the way.
The Youth Active approach
Active doesn't just
mean moving.
At Youth Active, keeping young people active means more than sport and movement. An active mind, one that is challenged, supported and growing, matters just as much. Our coding sessions exist to give young people that mental stimulus alongside real mentorship, so they grow into well-rounded individuals ready for whatever comes next.
An active mind
Coding challenges young people to think differently every week, breaking down problems, spotting patterns and building things that actually work. That is a genuine workout for the brain.
Real mentorship
Our team is in the room every session. Young people are guided, encouraged and celebrated when they crack something new. Nobody sits stuck and alone.
A well-rounded young person
Sport, creativity, coding and care. We want young people growing in every direction, not just good at one thing, but quietly confident across all of them.
